Robert Jason Lightle

Robert Jason Lightle was born on July 3, 1971. He died peacefully at home with family Tuesday, May 17, 2022. The son of Ronald and Cheryl Lightle, he was the third of three siblings. Rob was the brown eyed boy with curly hair, quick wit, and lots of smiles. After graduating from Fairborn high school in 1989, he attended Sinclair community college and worked for Merchants security service in Dayton, Ohio. Rob was a kind soul who loved animals, the outdoors, true friends, and family. He could often be found near the Little Miami River, Glen Helen nature preserve, or with a fishing line in the water somewhere. His kindness led him to open and run the "Willie D" pet rescue for several years,and help many neighbors and complete strangers along the way, as well. The family asks that you honor his memory by being kind to a stranger today and everyday. Rob is survived by his mother Cheryl, and his siblings Brad and Shelly.
