Sandra Kay (Hutchinson) Pratt

Sandra Kay (Hutchinson) Pratt, age 76 of Troy, formerly of Dayton, passed away Tuesday November 8, 2022.  She was born October 1, 1946 in Camden, Ohio, the daughter of the late Randall and Linda (Ratcliff) Hutchinson. 

Sandy found her passion in driving a school bus for the Huber Heights City School District.  She transported many children of all ages during her career and found a special place in her heart for those with special needs.  She was very active in the local community and enjoyed talking and visiting with people.  Sandy participated in many area church functions and never met a stranger.  Her genuine kindness will be part of her legacy to all of those who loved and knew her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Delbert in 2015; and a sister, Brenda Terry.  Survivors include her two children, Leah (Elbie) Watson of Springfield, Marcus Randall (Anna) Pratt of Troy; seven grandchildren, Drake, Michael, Emily, Abigail, Harrison, Tyler, and Erica; a brother, Raymond Hutchinson of Fairborn; brother-in-law, Jim Terry of Dayton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A funeral service will be held on Monday November 14, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Lloyd Hutchinson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Byron Cemetery following the service.
