Stephen Patrick McKenzie, age 66 of South Vienna, passed away Sunday July 11, 2021 at his residence. He was born August 15, 1954 in Okinawa, Japan, the son of Hubert “Bill” and Patricia A. (Davis) McKenzie. Stephen proudly served as a volunteer firefighter with the Catawba-Pleasant Township Fire Department. He was an avid fisherman, he also was a huge Ohio State fan, enjoyed golfing, and liked Nascar racing.
Survivors include his parents of Fairborn; his wife of 25 years, Lisa; a son, Stephen; three step-children, Jennifer, Kristin, Michael; eight grandchildren; a brother, William Michael (Rose) McKenzie of Fairborn; as well as other extended family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 15, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Abiding Christ Lutheran Church, 326 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Craig Fourman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the church. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the American Lung Association.
