Thelma Gibson Obituary

Thelma Gibson, age 91 of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday February 2, 2021 in the Trinity Community of Fairborn. She was born February 25, 1929 in Moorefield, KY, the daughter of the late Dell and Mimi Jane (Vice) Perry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Harry Gibson; brothers, Marion, Harold, and Fred Perry; and her sisters, Virginia L. Collinsworth, Mary Jewell Gaunce, and Betty June Miller. Thelma is survived by her son, Harry Mark Gibson of Fairborn; her daughter and son-in-law, Freida and Carl Howard of Springfield; her sisters, Dorotha Patrick of Mt. Sterling, KY and Elizabeth Reed of Owensville, KY; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Thelma was a longtime member of the Fairborn First Church of Christ. Private services will be held by the family with burial at Byron Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn.
